We decided to lean into that vision — while staying true to what we’ve always been about. Today, we’re proud to offer beautiful wedding experiences alongside our short-term rentals for vacations, retreats, and special occasions. Because here at Chateau Mariposa, it’s your stay - your way. Whether you’re saying “I do,” celebrating a milestone, or simply escaping for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

Mariposa is a beautifully appointed Mediterranean-style country home nestled on two and a half wooded acres.
You are surrounded by farm country where you could encounter farm animals as well as local wildlife. Not to mention the beautiful spring-fed waters! You are almost guaranteed to see manatees in the springs between the months of November and April, because the springs stay a constant 72-74 degrees all year round, so when the surrounding waters get cold, the manatees head for warmer waters!
